Professionals

The resources in the professionals section include school-based educational materials such as a high school mental health curriculum, training programs on depression and suicide education, and a virtual library of the most relevant scientific articles on adolescent mental health.

Using a knowledge transfer and exchange approach, the professionals section is designed to provide academics, researchers, educators and health professionals with resources to address adolescent mental health issues.

According to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) "Knowledge translation (KT) is a dynamic and iterative process that includes synthesis, dissemination, exchange and ethically sound application of knowledge to improve the health of individuals, provide more effective health services and products, and strengthen the health care system."
